     I asked the question due to I don't know, thus, I
don't see a difference between the two.  I don't know
what you mean by "deliver even spreads and... loaded
ones."  Random seems to be unintended, at least this
is the way I'm trying to explain it at this moment
(I'm sure you could probably think-up an intended
version that would work the way I'm seeing this too). 
Random values are presently moving about and yes they
may have choices, but these choices are their only
choices so they deal with the situation.  Now if you
want to choose between chocolate, vanilla, and
strawberry ice cream, those are preferences, but I
don't think you have any other choice, it is either
chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry (any mixture, or
absence of all).  So, I don't know where your coming
from in trying to create a black and white total
distinction, or maybe your not, I don't know.  I guess
I'm not seeing how random and preference can act
separately in vacuum without any dependent origination
involved.
