Not always black and white but sometimes.
Difference between a blind pick and a pick
that involves some distinction:

any electron will do
only ones with a certain spin

any cake
only chocolate cake for me

any body
must be female and long legged for me

moves off in any direction
only moves towards the centre of gravity

etc
