How does one reasonably argue with anothers faith?
This question has a hint of what Ron mentioned, thus,
mu would probably best be the answer. It's not about
reason and faith and who wins, if be winning one means
either faith or reason must be the last one standing.
Faith has its' quality on a social level. I'm
equating faith with trust. Yet, in light of
reasonable assertions based on experience, such as
dmb's example with the diamond in the backyard, will
what one has faith in, have the ability to be
intellectually pertinent, as well? That's the
question actively in play, sorting the sand if you
will, or slips of paper categorizing patterns into
larger or smaller similar patterns, maybe throwing
some away or keeping some, etc...
