Craig Well all patterns are dependent on who or what is involved in the pattern. In as far as human beings have common capacities we can agree on the 'objectivity' of certain patterns. Where we have differences, often cultural ones, we will not be able to reach such agreements. I think that we can make sense of realist/objective/independent concepts as long as we don't start pretending we can reach some value free or unembodied view from nowhere, as such a view tries to do without the primacy of experience.
