Sounds like you're working for the research firms that are doing the polling for upcoming U.S. elections. What exact question did you ask??? And it sounds like you've made quite a leap to your conclusion 'they don't think there is anything but objects.' Wouldn't this have been a great time to suggest 'patterns'?
