Hi Ron and all, The metaphysics of evolution is unclear! From the point of view of the Sun, I suppose you would opt for an ascending evolution from the Moon towards the value of the Sun. The Sun itself can be described in a descending order from the universe. IMO From the point of view of beginning sentient evolution the Moon, the Earth, the Sun are participating agents. IMO Metaphysics has to do with two things Order and Manifestation. Scott Roberts of earlier postings argued that to know anything 3 is in play. What a thing is, what it isn¹t, what supports it. Abstract this statement to a law of three for a manifestation, SQ. For evolution to have any boundaries, there must be an existence for each level. There is an order. IMO From the Moon¹s influence evolution is mechanical, from the Earth¹s influence evolution is beginning conscious, and with the sun¹s influence higher levels of consciousness. As a model of order, the order of Consciousness manifests in 7 levels as exemplified by the musical scale. Persig¹s observation of the order was incomplete. The meta-level of MOQ is hampered by assuming only 4 orders of evolution. Order/manifestation. A law of three sees only the individual manifestation of order. But it is wrong to say there is no evolutionary order. Persig¹s insight of undefined DQ is a mystical insight. A law of seven for order is in play. This is how I envision a metaphysics of SQ manifestation, and DQ order. Following Persig¹s description that DQ is undefined and apprehended mystically, then the law of 7 for order is only apprehended by proprietary awareness (conscious) of order. SQ is defined and manifest and is described by the law of the active, passive, neutral, a law of three. The manifestation is described in mathematics. There is no mathematics for undefined order, only mystical acceptance, like scoring a goall!!!!!!!! Joe
