SA:  Though I agree that because somebody says so, doesn't mean we are to agree 
with this somebody, but somebody will say so soon or later, you, me, Wilber 
(never read any of his stuff), dmb, Tom, Lo-lo, etc...

     I do find this pre-/trans- stuff to be kin with the Zen koan:

Mountains are mountains, rivers are rivers,
Mountains are not mountains, rivers are not rivers,
Mountains are again mountains, rivers are again rivers
