Marsha:?
I always have on the top of my mind Quality(Dynamic Quality/static quality).
That I find approaching and comparing it to a Buddhist point-of-view (however
limited that may be) should not be held against me. And I, too, need first-hand
experience. I would make such a difficult student.

Hi Marsha,
I don't know who is holding this against you, but it would?need looking into.
The first thing i would?ask someone who is doing that to you would be, 'Which
Buddhist tradition do you think Marsha is?mistakenly comparing the moq to'?

Marsha:?
I agree with you about independent thinking, but I think the MOQ is a beautiful
metaphysics. It's elegant in its simplicity. Any confusion is mind's arrogant
ability to over-complicate.

s:?The basic idea has existed for thousands of years so it looks like?elegance
and simplicity?goes a long way.

Marsha:?
Something inherently exists, or it doesn't. No more or less is possible.

s:?It seems the moq says Quality inherently exists, even though this is one
among a large number of names for something that can not be grasped. Maybe
Quality doesn't exist either?
Maybe yes/no logic is a bit Aristotelian, who, after all, is an asshole as you
know.
?
Marsha:?
Come on... Maybe you were not edited INTO the dvd. That would be an artistic
decision to be made by the creator. Tough luck kiddo!

s: Yes! That must be it. How arrogant of me. I apologise Marsha. I feel truly
awful.
I could not have expected anything else, especially when i contemplate the
shear astounding Quality of the Mati Palm-Leis presentation.?It is?almost as
good as 'Quality in the?new Millennium', which, as you know,?Robert Pirsig, and
his good wife, and Anthony, and David, and Paul Turner, and, well,?so many
others felt?to be so very excellent. And then some. So very excellent and then
some in fact that they asked for a copy to treasure for themselves.
I've read?the Mati Palm-Leis paper 100 times and i still?experience?a spine
tingling thrill of delight with each new perusal. I almost fear for?what may
happen?if i read it just one more time. To even think about it burns my ruddy
cheeks with?indignation and shame.

Marsha:?
References please, and I would expect more than just the usage of the word in a
sentence. Besides I asked for your understanding.

s: Oh. References now is it?
For one who proclaims to know nothing, you want to know allot don't you?
Well, if you've been reading this thread the relevant section of Lila has
already been provided.
And by the way, let's have a few references from you from now on if that's the
way it's going to be.
Fair play and all that.
