Who he was and what he did are separate from what he wrote and said at his talks. I am sceptical of the 'process' - Kundalini rising! Yes, he dissolved the Order of the Star but he kept all the prestige and adulation they gave him, in return he gave the world his words. 'Lives in the Shadows' was about his affair with his brother's wife.
