Ham:
Luckily, we in America would never fall for a young leader who promised
change without asking, "what change?" Would we?
woods:
Exactly. It looks like some are afraid to say what change Obama will bring
ala the posts I sent. U.S. funded Iran nuclear program and beating the war
drums at the same time. Obama voted with Bush on all the scary stuff the left
said they didn't like Bush for. Obama was the biggest war-monger in the
election process more than any other candidate. McCain was taken aback
by Obama even, during the debates. Obama calls for a civilian national
security force more funded than the military, and now he picks a Chief of
Staff person that wrote about a book and how the U.S. needs this.
Oh, Obama will change things alright. He's going to go along with
this current agenda of Bush and make it even worse. He's voting
record supports this. He's smiling calm will erode U.S. sovereignty
as he joins together this World Financial System that is taking about
regulating countries aka governing them through the financial system. He
received more money from from the big banks (4 times more) than McCain.
Yeah, the bankers, CIA, and military industrial complex got the guy they
wanted. They needed a new guy to sell this power mongering that's been
going on for over 60 years now. The empire will live on.
What do people even care about? I guess as long as their party guy
got in, but nobody on this forum talks about the policies just the smiling
guy and how calm he is. Maybe people like this growing empire and lose
of freedoms in the country. Maybe that's what's going on. Maybe people
have forgotten how to take care of themselves that much and now they
think only the intellectuals and gov't can really make the best solutions. We
don't need more zombies and thus intellectuals and gov't telling us what's
best.
We need the tools in our own hearts and hands to make our own moral choices
in freedom once again, but these have been eroded away for so long that people
forget that the immorality is not in the people not knowing. There uneducated
for
a reason. This country doesn't give people their own self-initiative anymore.
They've
taken away their moral intellectual compass, and now these intellectuals and
gov't
come in and they think they can lecture people what's best. It should be the
people
are empowered and their own self-reliance is grounded in a moral compass that
ONLY comes about when they are given responsibilities instead of others taking
over their responsibilities and making the population dependent, consumer crack
junkies.
