[Platt]
Multiculturism is based on the postmodern idea that all cultures are morally
equal, i.e, that they are neither "good nor bad," "right or wrong."

[Arlo]
"Multiculturalism" is rooted in the understanding that not only are the vast
majority of "cultural differences" unimportant, but that diversity in this
"dress" is actually beneficial and not detrimental to social and intellectual
evolution. As Ron pointed out, the greater the diversity the greater the room
for Dynamic Quality to push forward.

You keep making it about some ridiculous notion that "multiculturalists" are
out there saying that democracy is no better than tyranny. While that servers
your absurd rhetorical needs, it is simply appalling that such wingnut talk
passes as philosophical dialogue. It may give Limbaugh shivers down his spine,
but its an embarrassment here.

So I ask again, if this is really about looking around the world and seeing
"what is better", if this is really about comparing cultures and determining
which is better is this or that regard, then give some example about a
non-white, non-American culture that is morally superior to yours in some way.
We all know the ways in which you feel morally superior to the darkie
barbarians and miscreants out there, how about providing some balance and
talking about ways in which your culture is morally inferior? Are there any?
Gee... imagine that.

Why is it always the people who push for classifications of "Moral Superiority"
always, conveniently, place themselves atop the pyramid? Why do they never say,
"well, some things are better, and others are better in this regard...". Why is
it always "well, some things are better, and I am better in every regard..."?
(Its rhetorical, I know the answer)
