MP: Answering for only myself, my understanding of Steve's initial comment 
(hey, Steve!? How's the blog going anyway?) and dmb's subsequent extended  
commentary on mine was of an openly antagonistic and combative approach 
with the intent of either conversion or suppression, but in no way at greater 
understanding. Maybe I read their tone wrong, but seemed pretty clear to me.

MP: Again speaking for myself; absolutely. Of criticisms of religion (and trust 
me, I have them, lots of them) this would be in my top five list.
