How would you describe group reality?

Hi Willblake2 and Marsha.
Hope you don't mind me hopping in. This question reminds me of the first
sociology book I ever read which was written by Peter Berger: 'Invitation to
sociology', and put me on to his 'The Social Construction of Reality'
written in collaboration if I remember correctly.
I also attended a lecture of his when he visited LaTrobe University in
Melbourne, Australia. Didn't understand much of what he was saying though. I
remember at one point during his lecture he pointed to the watch on his
wrist saying: Íf this is not sexual harrassment I do not know what is'. (I
was so naive and still am).
Anyway, with a little bit of Pirsig I can now suggest that 'group reality'
is hypnosis and individual reality is considered delusion.
Regards
Andre
Hi Andre,
Or Lila might say it is whatever you say it is, you cannot lie.
Marsha
p.s. I also read 'The Social Construction of
Reality'. It had me walking around dazed for
weeks. I don't get the referenced link between
the watch and sexual harassment.
