To this end, I am familiar with a wide body of research on media literacy, intra- and inter-community adoptions of media tools, the construction of identity in socio-cultural contexts, structuration theories, etc. Perhaps you could suggest something in particular I missed, since you feel you have an "understanding" I missed? By asking for specifics, I am asking you to SUPPORT your claims. I gather this simple thing is beyond you, that you prefer making empty and unsubstantiated claims, and then crying when asked for support. Oh well. [Arlo] Since YOU made the claim that "improved communication" has improved the treatment of minorities, perhaps you could suggest something I could read that supports that? Can you give me any examples of areas, places, events, etc. that would serve to substantiate your claims? Where and what media have, over what historical time, led to which improvements in the treatment of minorities?
