I've been wondering if the strawman accusation issues Krimel has stems from the failure to distinguish SOm from SOM. That is, "Subject Object manipulations" as opposed to "Subject Object Metaphysics" And I would only add, in the interest of developing the idea "value percieved" is that it invites comparison with "value conveyed". Whereas we know very well the perceiver, the conveyer remains mysterious. One new thought came to me this morning that DQ is much less a "thing" than it is a function. Excellent post, Matt.
