Hmm. Do you agree or ....? I comment Pirsig's enigmatic statement
about SOM a "moq" in my latest for Ron:
"A bit on this: While SOM ruled it was not Quality which was S/O-
divided, it wasn't even a "reality" because there was no SOM before
Pirsig pointed to it . We were simply dead sure that there were one
subjective and one objective reality. These Pirsig's deliberations is
after his Quality Insight in ZAMM where Quality's sole fallout were
subjects and objects. And there aren't a huge number ...etc. because
what his insight revealed was Dynamic Quality! Thus "static" was the
only option ...or another variety of it".
My whoops was for Pirsig who - again -inadvertently confirms that the
intellectual level IS the S/O divide I repeat the quote from LILA:
"It is the intellectual framework with which one deals with the
data that is at fault. The fault is within subject-object
metaphysics itself.
"The intellectual framework" is the S/O splitter, there was no neutral
(non-S/O) intellect being hi-jacked by SOM, the two are identical.
