Platt to Andre:
Perhaps you can explain for me the difference between a literal and a
metaphorical force. Seems to me both connote change.

Andre:
Hi Platt, I agree that both connote change but to attribute a 'force'-
like quality to Quality (hihi-smiley) is, imho, not correct. Quality
simply is. It is similar to suggesting that Quality 'creates'
something. Quality doesn't 'cause' or 'create' anything. Much rather
to convey what is meant is that it is an 'event' (ZMM,p233) and this
event is the 'cause' (of the subjects and objects). ZMMp, 234.

Platt:
Are you saying then that DQ is a sometimes thing, here today, gone
tomorrow?

Andre:
No, DQ is. Ideas such as 'thing', 'today', 'tomorrow' are abstracted
from the (DQ) 'event'.

Platt:
How would you describe them?

Andre:
Similar to the above.

But, as Phil Collins once sang: 'Again and again, I ask myself, was I wrong?'
