Hey Mark, Seems to me the MOQ offers two ways to control man's aggressive nature, a holdover from his biological days when he had to fight to survive. First, there's Roberts Rules of Order that Pirsig offers in Chapter 17 as a method to peaceably transfer social level power while preserving DQ. Second, the intellectual level's support of individual rights as described in Chapters 13 and 24. If both were adopted universally much bloodshed would be prevented. But, there will always be a criminal element who won't abide by any civilized rules of behavior, requiring a police or military response.
