Community organizing is what a forceful individual does when he influences a lot of people to follow him or her. Communal action occurs when people realize a common idea about what is good, and see a need for congruent action. > Speaking of "egoistic selfish desires," Mother Theresa was a shining > example. She gets trotted out like a cliche to make a point and then put back in her box. It's a good feeling to do good for the poor, but the poor ye have with you always and at the end of the day, they're still poor so other than an egoistic conferral of sainthood in the public eye, what really has been accomplished? Sorry. Like I said, I'm in a bit of a sour mood these days. Christmas Cheers and such always depress me. If I could recreate the Grinch Christmas, I definitely would.
