hi guys, Magnus , Krimel, Gravity was always present in the universe , it only became existing by observing it , the set was complete.
differentiation; differentiate existence from ,....was present before existence. Pirsig himself is pointing out towards this line of thinking in an interview somewhere, when he is asked the question did'n gravity exist before Newton? wat was the apple doing then before Newton,; Pirsig answers , "it just felt" IMPLICATING that gravity was present before Newton, before it was formulated. It was just there, outside of recognizible existence. Quote Krimel /Magnus [Krimel] Isn't this the point of Pirsig's gravity example? Gravity is a signifier that points to a set of patterns in the world. I do believe that things fell to earth prior to Newton and at more or less that same accelerating rate that he clocked. But the concept of gravity was a new thing under the sun when he wrote it down. [Magnus] Does it still exist outside of our concepts of it? Or did it seize to exist when we conceptualized it? Adrie For us , human's it seized to be observable only, and therefore was present outside our field of observable facts. Krimel has a case, proving he's on the case by understanding the case.some finetuning and he is arriving. ( for Magnus) I'm aware of my bad habbit for new threads , launching the complete set everytime, Magnus, taking bandwith..., but the reason is this , my windows environment is emulated within a mac-environment , and vice-versa, this is to switch windows-mac, the suite's are working good , but i seem to loose some functionality of my keybord for cuting/pasting on the adress-bars. I can change it , but then i loose the personal different from normal unicodesettings of my machine everytime. and these are used by my son, when he comes back from Sout Africa next week , i will have him look into this, probably he wil emulate a new keybord for me. so my settings will be changed next week.until then, be patient. greetzz.Adrie 2010/8/24 Krimel <[email protected]> > [Magnus] > I'm confused, first you agree with Frank who said: > > [Krimel] > Yes, you are but I think that's because this is confusing.
