It's not so much philosophical dispute, its philosophical loss.  It's a
complete break, for one thing, between generations.  The young growing up in
a world their elders don't understand.  That represents ego-loss, pain and
 bewilderment.  Yes indeed.

Yeah, I hear the rejoicing in your "tone" all the time, Krimel.  You're just
a regular rejoicer, you are.

Everyone loses sleep over the failure of idealism.  Nobody likes it when
positivity loses and nihilism wins.  Everybody wants a happy ending, what's
so insane about idealism?  The birth of the 20th century saw amazing changes
in intellect and society.  What devastating disapointment then to observe
the results of ideals, on flander's fields.  It's enough to make you throw
out the baby with the bathwater, you wanna get rid of that bathwater so bad.
