Marsha, Marsha, Marsha:
Hmmm. The warmth and sincerity of your apology is overwhelming. Excuse me while a grab a hanky. Look, it hardly matters what you were excited about or even if you were excited at all. Either way, "excited" was your word, I wasn't making anything up, and "excited" hardly constitutes an accusation that you should want to defend anyway. Regardless of whether or not you found it exciting, posting the quote demonstrates some level of interest in it. So I offered an explanation of the hypothetical scientist described in the quote as she relates to the hard problem of consciousness. And what was your response? You focused on the least relevant part and then used that to make a conspicuously false accusation. Was anything of substance added beyond this irrelevance and falsity? Nope. Zip, zero, nada. Some people would have responded by saying thanks and/or by saying something about the hard problem of consciousness or the hypothetical black&white lady scientist. But not Marsha. No way. That would be way too reasonable and fair. Marsha don't roll that way, huh? > From: [email protected] > Date: Tue, 28 Sep 2010 15:14:22 -0400 > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [MD] Quantum Enigma > > > As I previously posted an apology to you dmb.
