For instance, the earth is a major part of what we call objective reality & we are almost always in direct contact with it (astronauts aside). I spend much of my time (with notable exceptions) in direct contact with clothing. True, there are many things that at any particular moment I am not in direct contact with. But if it were important enough, I could easily gain contact.
