Physical motion, particularly predicable physical motion [the physics], such as "the earth's rotation and orbit" are stable inorganic patterns. And they are, sure as night follows day and spring follows winter, EVER CHANGING. Predictably similar but never the same. Your objection to Marsha's definition is the inclusion of "ever-changing" in her definition of static values. Above you perfectly describe a whole series of stable, ever changing, patterns of [static] value. And you say Pirsig agrees with that.
