Hi MRB, It is only important if we want to have a conversation about it, otherwise not. I could care less how snow is defined, I am going to dress warmly regardless.
Definitions are one of the tools of the Social Level. They provide a common medium of exchange such as a dollar being defined as a dollar. All definitions are circular and resort to other definitions. Water is wet. Why? because things are made wet by water. Water, wet, water, wet, water... have I said anything by saying that water is wet? Absolutely not, I have simply provided another term for water and am simply trying to stimulate a conversational exchange. It makes me feel like I belong.
