Hi Joe, To say that 6/2=3 is to say that 3*2=6. In general to say that a/b=c means that b*c=a.Therefore, to say that 2/0=c (for some c) would mean that 0*c=2. But 0 times anything would be 0. There is nothing we could multiply 0 by to get 2, so 2/0 is undefined.
