Hi MarshaV and All, Metaphysics cannot be an argument. The theory of knowledge DQ/SQ is structured to accept definitions SQ together with the indefinable DQ. Where is the rest of the "world" when it comes to definitions? Hanging out with mathematical logic which negates the indefinable.
DQ/SQ proposes that DQ is knowable and indefinable. The indefinable problem in individuality enters DQ/SQ and the theory of knowledge has to be changed from abstraction SOM to direct experience MOQ. Quality is no longer an adjective in SOM, it is a noun in MOQ. That is a lot of misunderstandings in history to address. How can you describe the indefinable with words? You have to appeal to a self/direct/experience of indefinable DQ. DQ, as indefinable, cannot be a common unity experience. Only the individual experiences the indefinable. Communication has limits. The argument continues and metaphysics is in limbo. Which is the most secure/revealing in logic? IMHO Logic DQ/SQ plus, Logic SQM minus.
