Marsha before: Your description "shining through" also seem to ring true. Additionally, thoughts are not crisp and opaque from beginning to end, but as the Buddhist say, within that 'microsecond', thoughts arise, abide and cease. Marsha: The thoughts arising, abiding & ceasing is a process, and what I see representing 'ever-changing' from the synchronic perspective rather than an evolutionary diachronic perspective.
