From what Dan gave me as a source, I didn't see
anything that said (well over half). I did see the
word rare, as in rarely happens. I'm not downplaying
the eventual possible danger, as with the eventual
possible danger in getting some form of cow disease
from eating cows. Danger is everywhere, time to
survive, use our intellect, and not make the dangers
so difficult by our difficulting life. I'm referring
to small pox and influenza, etc...these diseases have
come from domesticated animals, brave farmers. Each
new medicine raises the stakes, as well. We don't get
rid of diseases we make the disease population small
for it to only rise again stronger than ever. As for
this prion disease, SARS, these deer, maybe their
getting too close to us. That is one theory as to how
so many diseases from domestic animals jumped to human
beings.
We could take our time and with simplicity
notice, be attentive, and alert, ah... but who am I
trying to kid. This is a fast racing, consumer,
non-thinking, who cares what we do to ourselves, the
world, and our children kind of culture.
Ah, we could have technology, have clean air, be
responsible people, oh, what am I trying to practice,
quality or something I guess.

quality of life, hmmmm...
