Okay. So all this talk about Quality isn't Quality. I never said it was. But if
not to talk about it, why are we here? Why aren't we out painting pictures and
fixing fences and walking our dogs and fishing and riding our motorcycles?
(Okay, last one has a lot to do with the 12" of snow on the ground). Why waste
time coming to a discussion forum whose purpose is to "dualistically" talk
about Quality?

measurements and valuations are SOM.  The thing that is named is not the thing.

I'd say "man is the measure of all things" is another way of saying Quality
precedes subjects and objects. As to your second point, of course I completely
agree.
