This is a very narrow view. There are questions science
has no way to answer, this does not mean it does not
have answers. You appear only to be interested in the
answers science can give. I too take a keen interest in
science but would not take your narrow view. To say so
confidently that science 'explains' is to overstate what it
is able to tell us. It think it would be fairer (although also
unfair, but less unfair than your view) that science only
describes. Explains is an overstatement.

[Case]
If you mean questions like; what should I have for diner. Or what's my
favorite color; I suppose science does not have much to offer. But as I said
science in particular and rationality in general do not play a major role in
daily activities. Most of the time it seems to me we act on autopilot and
such thoughts are flitter through our heads have little to do with what we
are doing or where we are going.

But what questions did you have in mind?
