Platt ... dare I say "excluded middles"

Of course I don't reject the value of logic. What I reject is the is
the idea that there is only one kind of either/or logic and the idea
that it is the only, exclusive basis, of rationalising what might be
"known". It's only one part of a more wonderful story.

To be wise and enlightened is to know that you are uncertain - gav
said it better - I'm absolutely uncertain about that ;-)

Oh I see the self-contradictions alright - I keep pointing out the
recursions and paradoxical logic. The difference is I see the value,
something to embrace, you see only a problem, something to reject.

I'm positively pragmatic, you are negatively, cynically skeptical.
Cup half full vs cup not full = empty (or half empty to some people)
