Hi Marsha

This got me wondering if there can be a deliberate school of "emotional
thinking" and what it would look like. I think if I try to exclude critical
analysis altogether I'm not sure I have anything left? Likewise if I excluse
emotion altogether from critical thinking I have no way to decide what to think
about.

Hi Jos, Marsha, and all,

I love "??"! They fit my mood. I wonder why you didn’t put ""marks around
critical thinking also? I place "mind" in all the levels of evolution so there
is no soul to hold "mind". "Mind" is always in quotation marks! Now what about
"thinking"? I don’t want to get carried away!

Code of Art! IMO evolution follows a pattern. In some way we are attuned to
that pattern. We know when the pattern fits together. A Code of Art is a
realization of that attunement. When I sing endorphin is released if I sing in
tune from the right place. I missed a rehearsal and the choral director said he
missed my bass resonance in an 80 voice chorus. At the TV show honoring Paul
Simon, one lady stood at the piano and sang one of his songs. I was enthralled.
Her tone, breathing, phrasing, diction, presence etc., were all breathtaking! I
don’t even remember what she sang, just her presence.

Happy 4th!

Joe
