If you mean by relative influence, that we do influence no matter
what our effort, I'm with ya. So, we've got these preconceptions and
prejudices that we must thoroughly shift through. Also, I'm goin' be
touche at times, or more like irritated by those that will walk all over
ya' thinkin' they have to, even when I'm open-minded, firm discipline
not only has to be directed towards residents but towards the powers
that be. They need accountability, too.

situation where I work, the quo
seems to be that people are either lazy or unwilling to take
responsibilty. I use to allow this
to irritate me and stress me out. I've learned that I can't mother
people but I can influence them.
whether it be top spinning the responsibility back into their side of
the court or simply
empowering them by teaching them how to handle their own problem I have
greatly reduced
the burden I usually take on.
