Highlights this morning at Carver Park before the winds really picked up were
Eastern Kingbird, Swainson's Thrush, Blue-winged, Tennessee, Orange-crowned,
Yellow, Yellow-rumped, Palm Warbler, Common Yellowthroat, Lincoln's Sparrow,
and Baltimore Oriole. I thought I heard the call of the Henslow's Sparrow in
the general area he usually returns to, but it was hard to tell for sure with
the wind. If it was him, he was much further back from the trail than in past
years. Back at the arboretum yesterday was a Blue-headed Vireo and a couple
more Sedge Wrens.
