Another check at Rapids Lake in the rain today turned up a couple different 
species for that area.   I came upon what I believe was the same 
warbler/White-throated Sparrow wave I ran across yesterday.  It was a couple 
hundred yards north of where I found it yesterday and an hour later it was 
couple hundred yards south of the area.  I presume it is the same, since 
yesterdays group had 3 Tennessee Warbler as did todays.   The rain today made 
it easier to see things keeping birds lower.   Other birds in this wave were 
many Yellow-rumped , at least 6 Palm, a Blue-winged Warbler, and a 
Yellow-throated Vireo that was moving with them.  2 Ovenbird, an Orange-crowned 
Warbler and Lincoln's Sparrow were off to themselves and a Common Yellowthoat 
was back  on territory.  I searched the area where the Black-throated Green and 
Nashville Warbler were yesterday without success.   12 Lesser Yellowlegs and a 
Greater Yellowlegs flew in while I was there and 2 Solitary Sandpiper were 
working the shore.  5 swallow species(no martins though I tried in vain to pick 
one out) were working the lake and surrounding areas.
