Thanks, and I can understand that.  On the other hand, the version of
English that I speak was once a fairly well documented standard, until a
large number of US citizens came along and made it their (initially
undocumented) own.  I would look a little silly arguing against their
usage now.  I know that the analogy is imperfect, but you see what I mean.
