Not bad!  Please log an RFE bug in http://bugzilla.mozilla.org with your 
design.

I'm not saying anyone is going to implement it, but it gives us a way to 
track and discuss the idea.

That is alphabetical, from lowest to highest.

I don't see how that is sorted.  But all this would be solved if you 
could order newsgroups like you could in 4.x.
