Actually, I found one place where it makes _real_ sense, but isnt used!
In the "Newsgroups" tree for a particular server. The list is a tree,
and with the default dialog width, expanding down to
"netscape.public.mozilla" means I can't read the name of the group.
Having the child elements in this tree abbreviated makes a lot of sense
- the fact that the entire hierarchy is visible in the tree means it
should be obvious to everyone what the full group name is.
Is this worth a bug?
