My entries were still present after quitting Mozilla. The file wasn't
rewritten, TextPad would have told me. Anyway, I did, and still it

That's the same profile directory where my bookmarks.html resides, right?
Did that, too. Still doesn't work.
And even if it did, I'd still like to be able to configure it in the
prefs dialog. If that isn't going to happen, it's time for a "Tweakzilla"
app that does to Mozilla what TweakUI does to Windows. Much as I hate
the idea. :-)
