[MP3 ENCODER] Use mp3 to archive audio CDs

Hi all:

I'd appreciate any pointer to discussion of usability of high-quality
mp3 encoding (say, 320 Kbps) for purposes of music CD archival.

Any comparisons of original WAVs with WAVs, received from decoding an
MP3 file?
