Pam Blixt's message concerning additional surfaces along the Minnehaha Creek
corridor raises the questions of why? and how much? How much additional
surface will the MPRB proposal create, and why does it need to be done?
I am shepherd of a Nokomis East Neighborhood project which is trying to
clean Lakes Nokomis and Hiawatha, both of which are downstream of the Creek
and highly affected by surface runoff into the Creek. Proposing additional
surfaces along the Creek raises the possiblity of additional waste into the
Creek, and into our two lakes.
Any comments from MPRB members or candidates to clarify these concerns would
be gratefully appreciated.
