else?
Interestingly enough, I just got an invitation in the mail to Herron's
kickoff party. Stonewall's endorsement is nowhere to be found -- though
DFL endorsement and labor endorsement are there. I'm sure should Herron
opponent, Robert Lilligren have gotten endorsed by the Stonewall DFL, he
would have displayed that endorsement proudly.

 If

LOL, good questions all David. I'd like to point out how quickly Lisa
McDonald's campaign addressed Stonewall Chair, Megan Thomas's concern about
McDonald campaign's staffing. Hopefully the Stonewall Chair can give a
well thought out, and timely response to these questions.

Also, I'm curious why Brian Herron again left the Stonewall endorsement off
his literature. He didn't mention the endorsement during his speech (and
no, I don't have a copy of the speech, I'm relying on two ear-witnesses who
were at the convention where Herron was endorsed). Is Herron embarrassed
by the Stonewall Endorsement? Not so embarrassed that he won't go to Gay
Pride Parade along with Wizard Marks -- but too embarrassed to have it on
literature that goes to the wider public audience.

So far, from being involved with all the LCR/MN endorsements, they are
easily defendable -- and the endorsements were based on a candidates
answers to questions -- and if the candidate was an incumbent -- based on
their legislative record. As I mentioned earlier, at the LCR/MN June
meeting, members unanamously endorsed Shirley Carlson for 10th ward.
Shirley is commmitted to an inclusive big tent vision for the Republican
party. Her philosophy running for City Council is "More Access, Less
Excess". She won't be a reliable pawn for the current powers that be --
folks like Jackie Cherryhomes and the Mayor.
