Perhaps they simply do not feel it necessary to
explain their reasoning to a Republican, since their
endorsement is as a gay DFL group.
Your problems with Brian Herron are not universally
shared. There are GLBT community members who are and
have supported him, including Wizard. Considering that
your councilmember asked to screen before Stonewall
and mine did not (ward 3) I cannot get as worked up as
you apparently do about some supposed unsupportive
attitude you perceive. I am unsure what he has done to
incur your ire, but maybe it's time you explained why
you do not think he should've been supported.
Frankly, Eva, I hear you harp about Herron and Neva
Walker, though she hadn't even completed her first
session by the time you started haranguing her, even
though everyone I know in So. Mpls tells me they are
quite progressive. And I'm starting to ask myself,
what do they have in common?
