What's with the seven county area and light rail? Why would you add lanes to the Crosstown and 35W and not run light rail down the middle? Wouldn't commuters want to park in a suburban lot and take the train downtown? Or do commuters have to have individual cars and personal space?
Bill Dooley Ward 13 - Kenny Your idea of light rail down the center of 35W is a good one. The Feds were willing to do this same thing along with the 35W expansion plans and pay 90% plus or minus of the cost. However, the locals objected to any expansion of 35W and we lost the opportunity.
