"The Twins are not a community asset and a Hennepin County district judge
had no authority to order them to play baseball and to require Major League
Baseball send teams here to play the Twins in 2002, a team attorney argued
in a brief filed Thursday with the state Court of Appeals."

So, I am confused. I thought I was smarter than the average bear, but. . .
.with one face Coorporate Baseball tells the legislature taxpayers should
pay for their park because the Twins are a community asset, and with the
other face they tell the court they are not a community asset so our laws
have no juristiction.

Personally I wish RT would propose a trade with Coleman/Kelly: you take the
Twins, we take the Saints. Community Baseball over Corporate Baseball!

PS: Amen to Craig Cox calling the Star Tribune out on this issue. We should
be barraging them with as many phone calls as our newly elected officials
(reminding them that the people have spoken -- what part of no don't they
understand?)
