I did not create "Democrats for Carlson."  I wrote a letter on behalf of a
group of Gays and Lesbians -- Democrats (including the co-chair of
Stonewall DFL), Republicans and Libertarians) -- which got printed up and
distributed at the gay bars.  I've still got a copy of the letter.  Notably
that year, Stonewall DFL voted "no endorsement" on the Governor race.

I realize that Lavender doesn't have this focus.  I still think it's
unfortunate that here in the Twin Cities we don't have a GLBT news source
with the quality of the Washington Blade, Southern Voice.  I understand
there is a monthly starting -- I can't recall the name.  On the bright
side, and importantly, the Star Tribune is covering GLBT issues -- as they
covered the Lavender Labor struggles.
