Now this is the first accusation to actually claim that StonewallDFL sent these harassing emails to these women.  Lavender Magazine never made such an accusation; probably because their lawyers know more about libel law than Eva seems to.   In fact, Lavender never even characterized the emails as "harassing", they just called them nasty, a significant legal difference.

But this whole discussion seems to be concentrating on side issues, with lots of speculation but very few facts.  After all, if this was a serious effort to punish the people responsible, they could easily be identified from the headings in the emails.  Likewise, current phone technology allows easy tracing of phone calls just by dialing *57.  But nobody seems interested in this.  Instead these allegations are being used to attack Stonewall DFL.  (Maybe because Stonewall DFL's endorsements seem to find a lot more acceptance from the voters than those of the Lavender "Editorial Board" (Lisa McDonald, Catherine Shreves, etc.).)

Can we get back to discussing the issues & the qualifications of the candidates instead?

EY:  That could be.  Still, the story of harrassing emails from Stonewall
people going to women who supported Shreves is a concern to me.
