Ya know, Robert posted on this issue just to clarify some comments Eva Young made.
I spoke with Robert before, during and after he went to Harvard. I don't think he ever expected or asked for the city to pay any portion of this. Quite frankly, I don't even think he checked into it. He told me that he went because it would improve his skills as a policy maker. He always intended to pay for it with his own money. I hope he feels he got his moneys worth. I also hope it helps him with the decisions he faces ahead about the future of Minneapolis.
