CN: That's funny because a ton of cars were towed from my block, just off Franklin Ave. The city had posted signs on Friday for towing on Monday, and come Monday morning, I don't think there was one sign left. (Except of course, in the street and in my flowerbeds...) So all these cars were sitting out there, and I watched quite a few of them getting hauled off. What's more is that last winter, there were quite a few occasions where cars were towed for plowing, but the plow NEVER CAME. Don't get me wrong, I think that towing needs to happen in circumstances where there presence impedes the performance of city services. I just find it odd that so many folks talk about cars not getting towed - in places that aren't North Phillips.
